Fife Council Central Area Libraries brought out an excellent booklet many years ago titles Fine Ham an’ Haddie.
The booklet was an attempt to record local use of words and phrases before they are lost
I have listed a few examples from this excellent small booklet about the dialect of Fife.
This booklet is now OUT OF PRINT and NOT available from Fife Council Libraries, so please do NOT contact them to ask, try a book shop online perhaps.
