Genealogy in Fife
Fife Registration DistrictNames and Numbers
Due to the extremely high number of recent e mails to The Fife Post regarding parish numbers etc., I decided to list a page of all the Fife registration numbers from
1855 to the present day.
Many of the Parishes as you know them, have disappeared and are included in different districts.
Scotlands People
Welcome to the official government source of genealogical data for Scotland, called Scotland's People replacing ORIGINS. £6 fee still charged.

This is not strictly a Fife Link but I have met and dealt with this couple in the past and can heartily advise people to use their expertise for your research. A professional research service, using the resources of Elgin, Inverness, Wick and Mid Lothian as well as New Register House, National Archives ofScotland and The National Library of Scotland.
Proprietors are my friends Janet M Bishop, FSA Scot, Cert. SFHS and her husband Bruce B Bishop, FSA Scot, Cert. SFHS

Dysart 1851 Census (Partial)
Throughout my research for my own ancestors I look up many census returns etc., so I decided to share what I found in Dysart during my search for the surnames PHILP and ADAMSON, Other names do occur so it is worth a check.
It may help other researchers,
please understand this does NOT cover the whole parish.
